Artistic Journey

Years of gardening inspire my art. Many of the flowers in my paintings are grown alongside vegetables in my garden in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Before moving here, I had an allotment in South-West London for twenty years, which was a place where I could immerse myself in the peace and tranquillity of nature. The natural world plays an important role in my sense of calm, happiness and wellbeing, and I create artwork for others who feel a similar bond with nature. Each year in the garden brings new surprises and moments of wonder. Through my paintings, I hope to bring a quiet moment of nature into people's homes.
